The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
